Surgery

We perform all basic routine procedures, such as spaying and neutering, to more advanced operations, such as fracture repairs and cranial cruciate stabilization (MMP). Our staff here at Mountainview Animal Hospital are trained to give your pet the best possible care and compassion they need to not only successfully make it through the operation but to lead a healthier and happier life when they return home from our office.

What To Expect During and After Surgery

You can expect our staff's complete attention when your pet is in the surgical room. Before the surgery, we use the conclusions from the pre-surgical exam and any accompanying lab work to determine which methods are best to use during your pets’ operation. After the surgery, we design pain management strategies which are specific to your pet's weight and condition. It's our goal at Mountainview to give you all the advice you will need to properly care for your pet the moment they come home from their procedure.

We can answer any questions you may have about the procedure, so you can feel comfortable about how your pet is being treated. From the steps leading up to the day of your pets’ surgery, to the length of post-care recovery, we will make sure you and your pet are well prepared for any obstacle you may encounter.
