PulseVet Shock Wave Therapy

Understanding PulseVet Shock Wave therapy

Backed by over 15 years of research, PulseVet Shock Wave therapy uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate and speed the body’s own healing process.

How does it work?

PulseVet Shock Wave Therapy (SWT) is a non-invasive treatment for dogs and cats which uses high-energy sound waves that stimulate cells and release healing growth factors in the body. SWT is used to treat Osteoarthritis, tendon/ligament injuries, and bone fractures, as well as help to reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, accelerate bone formation, and enhance wound healing. SWT is done in office and typically takes abut 10-15 minutes. Depending on your pets’ injury, they may require anywhere from 1 to 3 treatment about 2-3 weeks apart.
