Understanding When It's Time to Say Goodbye

Field with a rainbow It can be difficult for pet owners to determine when it’s time to say goodbye to their beloved pets, especially if your pet has good days and bad days. If you are unsure as to whether it’s time to say goodbye, Mountainview Animal Hospital can help to evaluate your pet’s health and answer any questions you may have in order to help you make a decision.

In-Office Pet Euthanasia

Once you arrive in our office, you will have the option of choosing how involved you wish to be in your pet’s final moments. If you wish to stay with your beloved dog or cat throughout their final moments, our team will bring you into a room where you’ll be able to say your goodbyes and stay with you fur baby during their final moments. Once your pet has crossed over the rainbow bridge, you will have the option to take your pet back home for burial, or we can help you send your pet to Final Gift Pet Memorial Center where he or she can be cremated.

At Home Euthanasia

Unfortunately, at this time we do not provide at home euthanasia services. However, there are other Veterinarians in the area that we highly recommend for this process.
