Danielle and Jessica, LVT
If you ever feel like you just saw double when you stop by the clinic, don’t worry, you aren’t crazy: Danni and Jessi, our two licensed veterinary technicians, are identical twins! They grew up with a love of animals and the outdoors, which made them obtain a degree at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry for their B.S. in Natural History and Interpretation, graduating in 2010. After working for the NYS Department of Conservation for several years, they attended SUNY Ulster’s veterinary technician program, becoming licensed in 2018.
When not at Mountainview, Danni and Jessi are often home with their two dogs, Vilya and Anoren, two cats, Zephyr and Lichen, two guinea pigs, Lupine and Zinnia, and a flock of twenty chickens (all with names, of course). They also enjoy spending time with their mom, gardening with native plants, hiking, hunting, fishing, and playing computer games.
Jessica
In the last several years Jessica has had a vital role in helping to maintain your pets’ health in our office, from helping the doctors with procedures to scheduling appointments, she is one of the many friendly faces you’ll see at the front desk. Her love for animals made her attended SUNY Delhi for Veterinary Science. In her down time, she loves to read, garden and hunt. She has a Golden Retriever, Ruger, who you often see in the office when she’s here, and a cat named Tux.
Sue
Sueann has worked in the veterinary world for over 20 years and has had a love for animals both big and small her whole life. Before working at Mountainview, Sue worked at Pleasant Valley with large animals at a mobile vet clinic and also worked with small animals for some time before that. She also owns a Bassett Hound named Owen, who you’ll occasionally see at the office, and 2 cats, Milo and Marbles.
Amanda
Amanda graduated from the University of New Haven in 2021 with a degree in Marine Affairs. Although she will always have a strong love for marine life, her passion swiftly changed to small animal veterinary care upon moving to Columbia County. When she’s not working, she loves to craft, read and travel to new places. She also has an orange cat, Archie, who has extra toe beans! Sometime in the near future, she hopes to obtain a degree to become a Veterinary Technician.
